Description
Your pet's name in relief, a stainless steel bowl that lifts out for washing, and a height designed for eating without bending the neck too much. Why a raised bowl With the bowl higher up, the neck and back stay straighter at mealtime: especially helpful for older or arthritic dogs. As a rule of thumb, the rim of the bowl should sit roughly at the height of the lower chest. Which size (guide) • S · 10 cm: cats and small dogs • M · 16 cm: medium dogs • L · 22 cm: large dogs Measure your pet standing, from the floor to the lower chest, and pick the closest size. Care Steel bowl: lift it out and wash it separately. Personalised raised bowl stand with name

With the bowl on the floor, a dog eats with its neck bent and its weight on the front legs. Raising it keeps the head and neck in a more natural position.
More comfortable for older or arthritic dogs
Dogs with pain in the neck, shoulders or front legs struggle to lower their head: with the bowl higher up they eat without effort.
Helpful in some medical cases
For megaesophagus, vets often recommend eating in a raised position so food goes down by gravity.
A steady bowl and a cleaner floor
The bowl sits in the stand: it doesn't slide across the floor and water doesn't end up everywhere.
Large, deep-chested dogs
For Great Danes, German Shepherds, setters and similar breeds, a Purdue University study (JAVMA, 2000) linked raised bowls to a higher risk of bloat (gastric torsion); later studies did not confirm it. If you have one of these dogs, ask your vet before using it.
